Hockey History As Told Through Cardboard - Bob Brooke

The first in a long line of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School grads to make their way to the NHL, Bob Brooke logged almost 450 games in his career between 1984-1990.  After high school, Brooke went to Yale University and became their all-time leading scorer with 42 goals and 113 assists in his career before graduating in 1984.

Having contributed frequently in his career to international play, Brooke played on the 1984 Olympic team as well as the '84 & '87 Canada Cup tournaments, and the '85 & '87 World Championships.  But it was on this date in 1984, Bob Brooke scored his first NHL goal while playing for the Rangers in a game against the Winnipeg Jets.
