Precognition Is A Wonderful Thing

I posted about 15 hours ago now at 7AM this morning a new autograph on the Pens Auto Project site.  It wasn't just any autograph.  It was a rookie auto of Brooks Orpik, long time defenseman and alternate team captain of the Penguins.

Now, he is the hero of Game 6 and the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Penguins.  Orpik scored from the blueline in overtime to send the Islanders packing.  That is Brooksy's first game winning playoff goal in his career.  In fact, it's his first goal against New York since 2011.  And now the Penguins finally get out of the first round.  What a relief!!

And all this was brought to you because I posted about Orpik this morning.  Am I psychic or what?

  1. can you imagine if the Islanders actually had a real goaltender? Isles in four.

the Pens had best breathe a sigh of relief and wake the hell up.
    which I think they will.

  2. Can you also imagine if the Pens defense had actually showed up in game 2,3,4, or 5 like they did all season?

I hope you are right about waking up. They can't afford to fall behind against Ottawa. They looked really solid against Montreal.
