Sadness, just sadness

  1. My reaction was the same. He was in contention to be the second-line left winger with Malkin and Neal when the season started, and now he gets traded for a SEVENTH round pick? REALLY???

    1. I guess he just wasn't "developing" as fast as the organization liked. Although a case can be made for him as a beast on WBS. He put up solid numbers every year. Even made an All Star team. Maybe I should rethink this Super Collector thing.

  2. Ouch, man ouch. I think you should skip the rest of the year and just pretend it is 2014.

    1. At least the team isn't sucking it up like some critics thought they would. I guess that's the bright side. I don't know. I'm still dumbfounded.

    2. Not a good week for PC's. The Lightning just traded Dustin Tokarski to Montreal. Crap.

  3. Wow......I am very very sorry man. In the long run it will likely be better for him as he could stand a chance at more ice time in Winnipeg. I do want to apologize for my role in the situation as the Devils went after Ponikarovsky from Winnipeg which may have prompted this second trade of the day...

    1. Hahaha....yeah, we needed some toughness and size...though I really would liked to have seen us go after Tangradi instead of Poni....but I guess Lou would prefer the Devil he knew over the Devil he didn't

  4. As soon as I saw the trade, I thought of you. But at least he should be able to crack the lineup in Winnipeg.

  6. I gotta say I was a little worried when I saw the title and first picture.

Times like this I'm happy I only collect a superstar, but then again I go on eBay and see his $5 cards going for $25 and I get sad.

Who's next on the PC list, Craig Adams??

    1. Ummmm. No. Maybe Tanner Glass or Beau Bennett. Definitely not Adams. I've actually been considering Brooks Orpik if you can believe that.
