It just bugs me, regardless of whether I'm a fan of the team or not, when a superstar like that jumps when they are still under contract. And they use the "retirement" guise to do it. It just seems shady. Although, I haven't heard of any recent work-stoppages in Europe. Maybe job security is also one of his reasons.
